Srigiri , A Special Temple

This is the picture of Srigiri, a special temple of Lord Venkata Chalapathy located on the hill Srigiri, in Ongole, prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. This temple was constructed by Sri Aluru Venkata Ramana Rao ,the Chief promoter of Neeraja Groups, with the co-operation of his brothers, Sri Aluru Jwala Rama Rao , Sri Aluru RamaKrishna Rao, Sri Aluru Venkateswara Rao , Sri C.V.Ramakrishna Rao with his friends and family. The Acharyas in this temple follow the procedures of T.T.D. Every occasion here will be followed by a musical ceremony followed by a Unjala seva. People feel this temple as Second - Tirumala.The diety of this temple is coming to fame as Srigiri-Venkateswara

Sridevi thoti, Oh sreenivaasa,... ( An Indian Narration )

When I feel myself miserable in some dirty situations and critical situations in which I feel that I need to have some eternal power to lead the role, I feel calling the Almighty, this way.....

In telugu,
" Padmavathi sametha Parimala hasudave,
Sridevi thoti Sreenivasudave,
Nitya-Maasa-Paksha-Samvatsarothsava Kalyana Uthsav'udave,
Deenulan Kaabada Digi nundi raave? ( Enduku Raavu? )"

Meaning :

This narration starts with praising the lord. Oh Almighty, you are having godess Padmavati beside you and a beautiful smile on your pleasent face. You have godess sridevi residing on your heart, hence called as Sreenivasa. You are the one, who will be with celebrations of daily,monthly and yearly festivals,hence called as Kalyana uthsav'udave. Oh Almighty, who have all these defined unique characteristics, why cant you come here to Earth, to help us cross this ocean of transmigration.
